Nydree Flooring began in 2001 with the acquisition of Gammapar acrylic impregnated wood flooring, and later in 2003 the acquisition of its primary competitor, PermaGrain. Gammapar and PermaGrain were found in the mid-1960s with federal grant money from the United States to create alternative uses for wood products. Initially, the two companies focused on increasing the durability of furniture, toys, knife handles, and other consumer wood products before ultimately focusing on wood flooring. Today, these technologies, which have been refined since the mid-1960s, are utilized to manufacture extremely durable, yet stylish wood flooring products. We are proud to consider some of the largest and most prominent national retail store chains, healthcare systems, corporations, universities, and hotels as valued clients.

With manufacturing based exclusively in Karthaus, Pennsylvania, Nydree Flooring delivers superior customer service, impeccable manufacturing quality, and a constant focus on innovation. PermaGrain was a pioneer in obtaining Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification in 1999, and today we continue that commitment to innovation by partnering with leading industry experts in design, installation, and environmental concerns.
